The artist has a personal relationship to this scene as he was resident in the compound and worked there as a teacher for many years. Mr. Wyatt was the Art and Music master in residence who also was the appointed Public Relations Officer (PRO) and head of the Fine Arts Department. President’s college ” School of Excellence” as it was known, is a modern residential school situated on the East Coast of Demerara Guyana.
